Well yet another year has gone by this makes 4 years since we lost you. Time is healing our father's wounds. But I know he misses you like crazy in the winter time for those father/son moments that made him happy.

I know you watch over little sister. Dad even knows you do.

We will NEVER forget because our life will never be the same.

I know when the phone rings around the time you would call dad while out on the road he still wishes it was you. But slowly realizes with time you won't be calling. He enjoyed your phone calls.

We love you,but I know that you know this. The love for a child and sibling NEVER fade.

And I KNOW you are SO PROUD of Traci and your boys. They are now men but you know this. Please continue to guide them through life as you would when you were here on earth.

Dear Maddy family and Eaton Fire Department-

My heart goes out to you during this tragic time. There is really nothing I can say to make things any better. I just lost my husband to a heart attack in the line of duty 9 weeks ago and I can truly say I can understad the shock and pain you are feeling right now. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. If you need to talk, please notify me via e-mail (bkhaugh@yahoo.com). My sympathy goes out to you all. My only advice would be to lean on each other for strength and be still and let God hold you up right now. He will if you let him.
