Today the world lost a super hero, our metro family lost a sister, and a family lost a daughter, a cousin, but most of all a mother. All to a selfish mans reckless decision to drive while under the influence. Tonight we celebrate Christmas and as a city we mourn with the family, and our brothers and sisters in blue over the loss of one of our hero's, one of our cities own.

My heart is breaking for her families, both blood and blue. My deepest sympathy to all who knew hef.

So sad. Heartbroken.
