My beautiful little girl I miss you every day. You are in my thoughts all day every day. "Life without you" here to hug, kiss, our talks, laughter we shared and watching you love and raise your son is the hardest part of living now. My love for you has no end. I was always and still am and will always be so thankful God gave me you as my daughter and friend. Forever loved and forever missed.

This is the season that we remember God's gift to us when Christ came to redeem a very broken world. Officer Mengedoht's death reminds us why He came, to give us hope for His final redemption. No longer broken, may you be embraced in the arms of our Father or redemption. May His arms of grace enfold your family and friends. We thank you and honor you for your service.

Praying for Detective Deidre Mengedoht and her family and for all of our brothers and sisters in arms. Our Father, Who art in heaven. Hallowed be Thy Name; Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil, Amen

Deidre did so much good in her short time with LMPD. She will not be forgotten.
