Our deepest sympathies to the family of this young officer. Though this young husband, father, son, brother, friend, and fellow officer will not be able to embrace those he loved, may all of you feel the embrace of the Heavenly Father during this time. The sacrifice made by Officer Rodman on behalf of someone he did not even know demonstrates well the depth of character of this young man who took the oath to serve and protect. May the peace of God be an oasis in this storm

Your end of watch has came . You brothers and sisters and blue . Will carry on with heavy hearts and knowing they lost a brother . You go rest high in heaven .

We are so saddened to hear about this tragic loss. Please know that he died in honor and that our family prays for all of Officer Rodman's family, friends, coworkers and all those touched by this officer.

May God help help the family find eventual peace in this tragic loss. Thoughts and prayers go out for the family, coworkers and friends of this fine officer. Our community is safer because of his dedication and the dedication of his fellow brothers and sisters in law enforcement.

Together we stand in honor and sorrow for the tragic loss of our Brother, Officer Nick Rodman. Our prayers are joined together that God will tenderly bless Officer Rodman's family, his friends, the LMPD and all who share in the deep sorrow.

"Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death thou art with ...." Please God draw very close to all of us as we walk this through this valley until, by Your grace and strength, we can once again be lifted up to see more clearly your gift of eternal life in which now Officer Rodman has now entered. Please God hold us when our strength is depleted and our sight is clouded by tears. In Your holy and all powerful name we pray.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. 

God speed brother. I never had the privilege to meet you directly, but I had seen you around. From my family to yours we will continue to pray for your wife and children. 

From the thin white line to the thin blue line, we respect your sacrifice and will continue to fight the good fight.
