I was in the youth bowling that bowled there that Saturday. We would alyays play at the baseball stadium and around the railroad tracks. By the time we got home on Barbee Ave the TV was broadcasting the fire and my Aunt was frantic. If the fire had broke out an hour earlier the place would have been full of children. As a child I didn't remember that three firemen lost their lives. My thoughts are with their families. My uncle was a Louisville fieefighter at that time.
