Incident

Captain Joseph Buren, Sergeant Jesse Wilson and Firefighter Riley Pryor lost their lives while fighting a 3 alarm fire inside the Parkmoor Bowling Alley after being caught in a backdraft explosion.

Sergeant Wilson was not scheduled to work Saturday evening, but Capt. Buren's regular aide was off. He was commissioned to drive the B.C. wagon.
