750 was a good friend of mine, I had worked several accidents with him with the Fire Department as well as the ambulance service. 750 was to be commended with the actions of a trooper for the Commonwealth of KY. He was a model citizen and an excellent officer. POST 9 should be proud to have called him one of their own.

I started working with 750 when he first came out of the academy, and I was working with 750 when he was taken from us. I keep reading the messages left on these memorial websites and I'm thankful that people realize what kind of incredible person has been taken from us. He was one of my boys...not only one of my troopers, but one of my friends.

Trooper Leonard was one you could count on in the worst situation. He never complained about longs shifts and completed his duties with a smile. He was one of the funniest guys I ever met. Just when you thought things were bad 750 would crack a joke and give you that smile that only he could give. I will miss Jonathan as a co-worker and a friend. From the time this tragic event happened until you were laid to rest the gray never left your side and we never will.Sergeant Jamey KiddU/165 of the Kentucky State Police.
