His cruiser was struck on the passenger side by an on-coming vehicle.

Trooper Leonard was one you could count on in the worst situation. He never complained about longs shifts and completed his duties with a smile. He was one of the funniest guys I ever met. Just when you thought things were bad 750 would crack a joke and give you that smile that only he could give. I will miss Jonathan as a co-worker and a friend.
