While I did not know Daniel personally, I do feel like I've got to know him very well the last few days by talking with his coworkers from the Richmond Police Department. Everyone I've spoken to holds Daniel in the highest regard. Both on-duty and off-duty he gave his all to anyone who asked for his help and always put the needs of others before his own. It is clear he wore the badge with pride and served his community with honor. His sacrifice will not be forgotten. God Bless
