DANIEL,you have been loved by many and will never be forgotten. May God watch over your family and heal their pain as years go by. Your spirit will be felt by your brothers in Blue. You now have a heavenly watch to hold them in your arms to grieve and protect. You will be their guiding light.

My heartfelt thoughts are with the family, friends and co-workers of Officer Ellis. His death impacts all of us in emergency services and I pray that God will hold all of you in his loving embrace and comfort you during this difficult time.

I don't know officer Ellis but I work in healthcare and see terrible acts like this a lot. I have the utmost respect for ALL law enforcement who lay their lives on the line for me to be safe on a daily basis. Saying "Thank You" is never enough especially at the expense of a precious life. Ellis family you will be in my prayers and I'm so sorry for your loss.

Prayers for peace to the friends and family of Officer Daniel Ellis. My brother has been a police officer and Sheriff for almost 40 years and I know the courage it takes to do that job especially today. Thank you for your service Daniel and prayers again to your family.
