Thank you for your service to our community. We will continue praying for your family and the Richmond Police Department personnel.

Officer Ellis did a security guard job at my former place of employment when we had death threats put on our store. At the time I was pregnant with my son who ended up being born prematurely. Ellis knew where I lived since they paytrolled it frequently when I lost Jax he came to my home and gave me his condolences. I was so blessed by that he felt enough sympathy to come see me I will never forget his kindness and sweet words.

My heart goes out to Daniel's wife, Katie, and his son. My prayers are with the family and may God bless them with hope and strength.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you at these sad times. Daniels life was tragically cut short but was a wonderful person to know and I can say I have had the privilege of calling him my friend for many years. May he rest in peace, gone but never forgotten.
