I did not have the pleasure of knowing Eric, but he was my "little brother". May God bless and keep him, and may his family be comforted in some way, knowing that pain divided is pain shared. All of us who wear this uniform grieve for the loss of this young man. Blessed are the peacemakers.

My deepest sympathy to my brothers and sisters in grey and especially to Eric's family. Though I did not know Eric, the same flood of emotions I felt on October 31, 2006 when BGPD lost one of its own raced thru me. The saying "when one falls its felt by all" is such a true statement. May God bless Eric, his family, the KSP, and all of us who stand each day to protect and defend that which is so precious to us all.
