While responding to investigate a complaint of a reckless driver, Trooper Chrisman crossed into the path of oncoming traffic while negotiating a curve. His vehicle was struck on the driver's side by a tractor-trailer. The incident occurred on US-62 at the Tennessee River Bridge in Livingston County.

Rest in peace my brother. Your tour in the trenches is over. Even though your tour was brief your memory will go on for as long as the Kentucy State Police goes on. Blessed are the peace keepers.
