Condolences from the Central Hardin Fire Dept. to the Officer Long's family and the Terre Haute PD.

God bless Officer Long's wife,daughter and baby son; his extended family members in this time of loss. He has paid the ultimate price...his life for others as Christ did. I pray that justice will be done for Officer Long and his family. According to God's will, we must also pray for the person that took his life, that God will grant him mercy along with punishment.

While I did not have the honor of knowing Brent Long personally, I know the pride and determination that was in his heart. Everyday as he put on his uniform, as he said goodbye to his wife and children, the hope he had to see them again. The black face of evil has stripped his city and loved ones of a shining beacon, but God holds him in his arms and he is forever at peace. Go easy Brother Long.

May you rest in peace, Officer Long. To Officer's Long family. Your family has paid the ultimate price in the your loved one died doing what he loved to do. His dedication will not be forgotten.

Bean, the day has come for you to meet the powerful all mighty lord, He has a plan for you above us all. You will be greatly missed by all. RIP brother
