We've lost a true Hoosier Hero, what an absolute tragedy. What is this world coming to!?!? Rest in peace my brother, we'll take it from here.

It's always hard to lose someone but even harder when that loved one puts his or her life on the line daily to protect and serve a community. I did not know Officer Moore but my heart aches for his family and brethren in arms. My 2nd cousin, Darrell Phelps, was a Kentucky State Trooper killed in the line of duty in August of 1983. It's not something you ever want to go through but know it's always a possibility.

God, watch over the family, friends and community as they mourn the loss of a man who chose to give his life for his community. Put Your healing hands on their breaking hearts and comfort them in only a way You can.
