Incident

While fighting a fire in the A.B. Aloe building at 415 Broadway, Captain Stanton died following a collapse. The collapse also killed Firefighters Nimrod Kerley, James Roddy, and Owen Hines. It also injured six other firefighters. Captain Stanton was assigned to Chemical Company #1 at Engine House #15.
