Incident
While working on the third floor at a fire in the Christian Brothers College, a wall collapsed killing Firefighter Kuhnert of Truck 19. The collapse also took the lives of Lieutenant Henry Budde of Engine 43, and Firefighters John Parshall, August Sturmfels, George Young as well as Lieutenant Michael Waters, all of Truck 19. Three civilians also died in the fire.
