Captain Robert Bruce Morrison

Firefighter Morrison and Firefighter Derek Martin responded as a part of a rescue company crew to the report of a fire in a two-story commercial building. While attempting the rescue of another firefighter, both firefighters became disoriented. As conditions worsened, both were eventually located and transported to a local hospital where Firefighter Martin was pronounced dead. Firefighter Morrison died the following day. Both firefighters were promoted to Captain posthumously.
