Incident
Trooper Tribby was involved in a fatal motor vehicle crash on Interstate 64 near Winchester. He was off-duty at the time and in his personal vehicle.
When he noticed a motor vehicle crash with fire on the opposite side of the interstate, Trooper Tribby notified KSP Post #8 of the crash and his intention to render aid. As he was preparing to turn around to assist, the fatal crash occurred.
