I only met Chief Orkies one time and he was one of the nicest people I've ever met. I felt like we had known each other forever. My God be with your family.

I am deeply sorry to learn of Rob Orkies death. He was a blessing to the community and gave of himself always and without concern for himself. He will be missed terribly. I will pray for his family and keep them there during this tough time as I am sure they will miss him so much. He gave the ultimate sacrifice for all of us.

Zoneton Fire and the surrounding fire service family are better for having Rob in it. He understood the importance of building relationships along with achievement. I am glad to call him Friend.
