My name is Erik Landrum and I am from Cincinnati, Ohio. I met Deputy Denzinger at Duncan, Indiana on May 6, 2007. I am a railroad enthusiast and was taking photographs of Norfolk Southern Railway trains at Duncan. Deputy Denzinger spotted me and my friends and noting our unusual hobby, stopped by to see what was going on. 45 minutes later and after much delightful chatting, story swapping, joke telling, etc. we parted ways. I knew that the citizens of Floyd County had a great officer protecting them. It was with great heartache that I learned of Deputy Denzinger's falling in the line of duty only weeks after we had met. Thank you Deputy Denzinger. We will NEVER FORGET you. God Bless.

I feel like there are no words or tributes fitting.. you were even better then they say.. you taught me how to eat a cupcake.. you had jason higdon shoot me with a pellet gun.. followed by your hysterical laughing at my girly scream.. i want you to know that it tore me up to hear of what happened to you.. i wept for weeks.. i just broke down at many different times.. i never really thought people would understand or take my grieving to be real as i was only there for a short time, worked a different shift mostly, and was low man in seniority.. but here it goes.. you will never be forgotten.. i took the newspaper articles of this incident .. framed them and hung them next to my desk.. so there will not be a day that goes by that i dont think of you and remember.. my father always told me that when he is gone .. and when i join him.. him me and my grandfather will play golf together at Jesus National.. since this.. will you be our fourtha i love you brother.. i will pray for your family for the rest of my life

Frank,

It was an honor to serve as your dispatcher for the past four years. I have never met a more professional police officer. I enjoyed your sense of humor and wish I could have known more of you outside of the police department. As a son of a police officer for 27 years, I have always known the risks associated with this profession. We (the law enforcement family) are keepers of the peace, and because of our service and sacrifices, the citizens are kept from descending into anarchy. As a father, husband, friend, and police officer, I have never known your equal. I cannot express in words how much you are already missed. You are in God's hands now, which gives me peace knowing that you are walking in Heaven with the Lord. As much as it pains us here on earth that you were taken from us that Monday night, it is comforting to know that God has a new angel.

Godspeed Brother, you will never walk alone

Frank, It was an absolute pleasure to work with you. To hear a funny story when you needed one or just be a faithful ear when times called for it. A hero you are and will always be. Your legacy will live on in the hearts of your loved ones and friends and in the eyes of that beautiful little girl, Avery. May god bless and keep you until we all reunited in the promise land. You will never be forgotten, but very sadly missed by all those who knew and did not know you.

Our heart and prayers go out to you and your family,

Pam, Joe, and Christopher Squier
