As the mother-in-law of a fallen officer my heart breaks for the Ellis family, the police family, and the community. I know how hard this is for all of you. It is by trusting in God and leaning on each other that you will get through this. That's not to say it will be easy, because it won't be, but you can and will get through it.
Mrs. Ellis please know that you and your children are in my prayers and will be for a very long time. Having watched my daughter and granddaughter go through this I have some idea of what you have before you. You will need all the strength and resolve you can muster. You cannot do it alone. Don't be afraid to reach out to others, as their help can be immeasurable. Most of all, turn to Almighty God. May He bless and comfort you all.
My thoughts and prayers are with his family. God bless you brother. Enjoy God's peace for keeping the peace.
My prayers and thoughts go out to Jason's family and fellow officers during this difficult time. God bless all of you.
Some people come into our lives and they go. Some come in, leave footprints on our heart and we are changed forever.
This young man's family lives very close to me. God will keep you in his hands and I will keep you in my heart.
My heart aches for the wife, children and family of Officer Ellis as well as the family of blue. Praying for strength for the coming days. May God's grace and mercy be upon you all.
May Jason's family, both blood and badge, find comfort. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and fellow officers as they are dealing with this tragedy. May God keep the officers across this country safe.
God Bless you for all your sacrifice and you will now be the hands of the Lord....Rest in Peace Brother....

Prayers are with Officer Ellis's Family, friends, and coworker! May God bless you all!
In 40 years of law enforcement service, I have attended too many funerals of officers killed in the line of duty (one is one too many.) My heart is heavy, not only for the officer's family and his department, but for all law enforcement officers everywhere who lost a brother.
RIP Jason. It was an honor and a privilege to serve beside you, to know you, to call you a friend. My life was definitely impacted positively having known you and your family! We will carry on your legacy from here.
