My heart breaks for the family of K-9 Officer Jason Ellis. I pray for his wife, boys, parents, sisters, and police family. They will have many hard days to surpass, but with faith and prayers they will succeed. I will continue to pray every night until the cowards are caught and prosecuted to the max for the crime they have committed. God bless this family.
I am so sorry this happened to a man that was only beginning to live his life with so a beautiful family. May u rest in peace. May God bless your and keep them safe.
Words can't begin to express how horrible this is. My heart is broken. To his wife, boys, and all his family, please know I have every one of you in my thoughts and prayers every day. We now know how amazing he was. To the Bardstown Police Department and all his family in blue, you too are in my thoughts and prayers and I thank each one of you for your service and courage to wear your badge every day for us. You are also amazing and heroes as well. Justice will be done. God bless you all.
I'm so sorry for your lost, may God be with you and your Family durning this difficult time. Just trust in the Lord and know that he has a plan for you as the days and nights pass by without your loved one.
A Poem for the little ones...God Bless !
"Dreams of my Father"
Back as far as I can remember
Looking up at you
With your shinny gold badge
dressed in navy blue.
Wanting to be like you in everyway
Hoping and dreaming of a distant day.
The day you would pin a badge upon my chest
Hopping one day to be the best.
The days have flown by
This part always makes me cry.
Remembering the day we laid you down to rest
Before you got to pin my badge upon my chest.
I only met Jason once but knew him well through his father, Denny, who was my barber in Blue Ash, Ohio from 1986 until his sudden death. His father gave my son his first haircut. His father was so proud of Jason and excited to see him excel in baseball. Over the years I listened to Denny talk about Jason's accomplishments in baseball at Glen Este High School, then at Cumberland College. When Jason got drafted by the Cincinnati Reds he was so happy for him. Above all of that Denny always said he wanted Jason to be a good person, and he obviously was. My deepest heartfelt condolences to his wife, children, mother , sisters and family duringthis terrible loss. Dr Wayne R. Albain
Thanks to Jason Ellis for his selfless service. He will be greatly missed.
I am praying for his wife and children, his family, and co-workers.
May God give you the strength and courage to make it through this tragedy.
Our young son had the privilege of training with K-9 Officer Jason Ellis last summer. Thank you for being an amazing mentor and role model. Our son has said " officer Ellis was one of the best handlers he has ever been around."
May you all feel Gods loving arms wrapped around you. May you feel peace and comfort knowing that God has called Jason home.
Rest Brother
