My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Ellis family and members of the Bardstown Police Department. My father. a 55 year law enforcement veteran, was murdered on August 28,2012 in his driveway by a man he had arrested multiple times. The last arrest being 10 years ago. My mother passed away from broken heart syndrome 5 days later. I am an only child with two children of my own. It continues to be a struggle for us to get through each day. Put your faith in God and he will get you through. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
