My heartfelt sympathy goes out to the Ellis family and members of the Bardstown Police Department. My father. a 55 year law enforcement veteran, was murdered on August 28,2012 in his driveway by a man he had arrested multiple times. The last arrest being 10 years ago. My mother passed away from broken heart syndrome 5 days later. I am an only child with two children of my own.
