Bobby Wayne hired me as a 18 year old kid to work as a store detective for him. After getting hired at 21 by JCPD, I followed in Bobby's footsteps and became a police diver. Bobby was the Uncle that I never had. He taught me how to drink bourbon, fish, frog gigg, play cards (Tonk!) and appreciate women.

I was honored when he asked me to say the eulogy at his wife's funeral. I have never met anyone like him. RIP Bobby Wayne Thank you for your service and being a great friend and mentor!

The spiritual giant who authored half of the New Testament, the Apostle Paul, when he asked God to remove a troubling "thorn in the flesh" was told by God, "My strength is made known in weakness." One can only wonder how much would have been accomplished by Det. Branham had he not been weakened by a piercing bullet. Perhaps God's strength was made known in his weakness. May God's grace carry family and friends. Peace
