Someone could have made a TV show following these guys. Their lives were exciting, their conversation was always so funny. Its sad to think that time ended so suddenly. I knew Cody since I was a kid. He was a good guy and a lot of fun to be around. We weren't that close, but the loss hurts quite a bit.
Never seems to be enough light to avoid such a tragic event..Knowing that you dedicated your young life to assist those that were in need is a comfort of courage and selflessness...May God lift up the families suffering at this time..I'm sure I speak for many when I say ..Thank You..you will be sorely missed..Prayers to the family , friends and loved ones...
CODY
Your time spent here with us on Medic 11 was a true blessing. You smiles and laughter were contagious. You stories and antics kept us amused. You were and are still family to us all. May we find comfort in the fact that God has a bigger plan for two exceptional young professionals. Our thoughts and prayers are with all families affected by this tragedy. May you and Tim rest in peace.

Our hearts go out to the family, friends, and co-workers of Cody. It takes very special people to do the work of an EMT or Paramedic. You will be in our thoughts and prayers as you deal with the loss of your loved one.
No words can express the comfort that those left behind need, but your example gives strength. Rest well, they have it covered. Your loved ones are being held up in prayer and wrapped in love. Godspeed.

Thank you Cody for your faithful service to your community. For the many times you may have held the hand of a person who was dying or to perhaps been a comfort to a frightened child. May those you have left behind, find comfort together with the others who grieve with them. Rest in Peace~ Mary Jo Hilgenberg and family
