My heart goes out to Scott and his family. In this situation, there is no one to blame. As a rookie, I was given a LODD assignment and I feel that fate and faith led me to this story. The best way I can honor Scott and his family is to learn from this incident and use it to make me as great a Firefighter as I know Scott was.

I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know Mr. Davis or his family but my heart breaks for all the family and friends he left behind. Today my co workers and many of our residents at Parkview Nursing Center watched the precession pass us on White River Blvd. We wanted to pay our respects. We will continue to pray for all. God Bless you.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Muncie Fire Department on the loss of a brother. As you go through the grieving process and the process of laying a brother to rest may you remain strong and have the courage to continue. These will be very difficult days. To the Davis family, your family is also in my thoughts and prayers. May you find peace in these troubled times. No words can ease the pain that your family is and will be going trough.

RIP FF Davis.
