A very Sad time for the Sullivan Fire Department. Just wanted to give our condolances from Indy Fire to you all. As they ring the bell for his final call, know he is standing beside all of the other brothers of our profession who gave it all and he is not alone, and that we will all be side by side again one day. Celebrate his life well and instill his memory within your department forever so he will never be forgotten.

I have a niece who lives in Sullivan. Though you may never have met, you and your brethren have been watching over her. Now may the Lord Jesus continue His watchcare over each of you, though His hand may not be seen, may His Presence be known. My prayers for your family and friends.

Peace.

As I struggled to Find words last night I saw a large out pouring of Love and Brotherhood. The Fire Service is strong and we will get through this. Chad was a good person and Firefighter as you all know and I and the Fairbanks Fire Department are truly saddened by this event and offer our full amount of Sympathy to The Family, Sullivan Fire and all who are touched by this. We pray tonight for the Family and know Chad will always be in our hearts forever and will be with us as we continue to Protect the very County he was committed to.
