I want to express my sympathy to Captain Murray's family and the Jackson Township Dept. He died serving his community, and there are fewer people every day that are willing volunteer their time in the service of others thru the fire service. Thanks to his loved ones for allowing him to make that commitmment to others. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

I read the tributes this evening. They mean a lot to me and I am certain to rest of family. Thank you. All I will add is that in the face of this terrible tragedy, is the complete peace I have in knowing my little brother was a surrendered Christian, saved at about 12 years of age, and committed to serving Christ in every way, including the role of volunteer fire fighter. I am so very proud of him, so very proud, and comforted.... for while we grieve our loss, he is now rejoicing with Christ our Saviour, where there is no pain, for "Bud" has gone home.
