Major Terry L. Cannon

I knew Terry since early grade school. Every since Terry was a child he wanted to be a Firefighter. I used to think, "yeah, right, no one actually becomes a firefighter, they just dream of being one when they are a kid."

Terry became what he always wanted to be. He lived in the same neighborhood he grew up in, and kept some of the same friends for life.

Above all, he was a very good and decent man who devoted his life to the service of his community and who loved his wife and children completely.

Rest in peace Terry. You will be missed.

Terry, you were truely one of the good guys. I am honored to have known you for 20 years. God Bless Barb and our girls.

You were literally like a second father to me. I am so blessed to be friends with your amazing daughter, and I am even more blessed to have known you. Thank you for always whispering good things to me, giving me big bear hugs and flashing that amazing smile. You'll be missed always!

Firefighters are special people whom I have always held in high esteem. I pray that the peace and comfort of God's healing love will permeate Major Cannon's family, friends and fellow firefighters, now and always.

Thank you Major Cannon for all of your service. You will never be forgotten...Heroes never are.

Our thoughts and prayers are most certainly with the familiy of Major Terry Cannon, the Buechel Fire Protection District and all those who are remembering that smiling face and great instruction they received while in Terry's presence.
