I had the privilege of working with Terry for the last two and a half years. During this time, I learned much about my job and how to do it. Whenever I needed help, he was there. Never without a smile, or a handshake or a friendly pat on the back, Terry was always a gentleman. He truly was a friend & brother.

Terry you have taught me much about the art of our job but you taught more in the art of how to live the job. I try and pass what you have instilled in us to those that will have the misfortune of not being able to learn from you. Rest in peace and know that we the members of your extended family will care for those left behind.

Terry was a 6 year veteran when I "cut my teeth" with the Buechel Fire Department in June, 1983, and with Barb, Krista, and Kara, the heart and soul of the Fire Service Community. No one is more reasonable, a gentleman, humorous, and more needed among us and the family. I owe everything to Terry. Mo

Maj. Cannon,

You will be missed. I only met you once, but remember the laughter I had with you and your fellow fire fighters and families. I know their hearts are heavy, but they will get back on the truck and keep remembering you with their courage.

God speed. You are a hero. In my heart, always.

Will miss your smile and jokes at the Crusade this year. I know you will always be there in spirit. This clown will have a tear hidden behind her makeup this year.It is people like you who makes it fun for me.

My prayers go out to your family and friends. I know what it is to have lost my father in the line of duty. The support is there do not be afaid to ask for it. People want to help but also do not want to interfer. Let them know what you need even if it is just to talk, they will be there for you.

Major Cannon conducted many of our fire inspections. He knew many of the staff by name and was a great educator during our surveys. Major Cannon always walked in with a smile on his face and remembered eveyone he met! You will be greatly missed by the healthcare community.
