Firefighter Byron Foust

Firefighter Foust died as a result of injuries sustained in a collison between the department's ladder truck and Assistant Chief's vehicle while responding to a fire alarm. Four other firefighters were injured in the crash.

Firefighter Foust formerly served with the Elwood, Indiana Fire Department and had been with Anderson Fire Department for approximately 18 months. His father, William Foust, was the former Mayor of the City of Elwood.
