Incident
Officer Snorden and Officer Thomas Williams were responding to a report of a man with a gun when Officer Snorden was shot and killed. Officer Williams was also shot and lost the sight in one eye. Other officers shot and killed the suspect.
Officer Snorden was a World War II veteran.

The Indianapolis Police Department has been disbanded and absorbed by the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
