Incident
Sheriff Patrick and a deputy were investigating a shooting at a home when the Sheriff was shot and killed.
When the Sheriff and deputy responded to the scene the suspect was leaning on shotgun. The Sheriff attempted to take the shotgun from the suspect when he pulled away and shot Sheriff Patrick with a handgun in the arm and abdomen. The deputy was able to take the suspect into custody.
