While responding to a fire call, Assistant Chief Clark swerved to avoid hitting a car that turned in front of him. His vehicle struck a tree and he and another firefighter were ejected. The vehicle then rolled on top of them.
Assistant Chief Clark was transported to Riverview Hospital in Noblesville where he died.
