Incident

Lieutenant Thomas was shot and killed while responding to a domestic disturbance on Richmond Avenue. He had answered the call for one of his officers because he was in the area. The female participant answered the door and the male was standing behind it. As Lieutenant Thomas entered the man grabbed his handgun and kept him hostage for a short time before shooting him. The suspect was sentenced to life but served only eight years.

I never meet you, but my dad sometimes speaks of you. My grandmother told me that you were the love of her life. You would have been my grandfather, and even though you died 15 years before I was born I think about you. You are remembered, you are loved by your children, by your grandchildren. There is a piece missing in so many lives, so many unfortunate ripples due to one mans action.
