Incident
While attempting to serve murder warrants, Detective Sergeant Ohrberg was shot and killed. Other officers at the scene apprehended the two suspects.
Convicted of murder, both suspects were sentenced to death. One offender became the last person to be electrocuted by the state on December 8, 1994. The second offender became the first person by the state to be executed by lethal injection on July 18, 1996.
