Patrolman Lawrence J. Pucalik

Patrolman Pucalik was working off duty security at a hotel when he was shot and killed.

Patrolman Pucalik was in the hotel's front office when he heard a commotion at the front desk as several armed suspects attempted to rob the hotel. The suspects began firing on him as he came out of the office with his gun drawn.

Patrolman Lawrence Pucalik was to have received his department's "Top Gun" award later that same day.
