EOW 2/3/1988. Gone almost 35 years BUT NEVER EVER FORGOTTEN. Chief Edwards was my boss but he was also a good friend. I first met Dave when we were EMT’s at AID Ambulance in the late 70’s. He hired me as a civilian medic with LTFD in May of 1986. I was a medic for 40 years and 2/3/88 was by far the worst shift of my entire career. Continued Rest In Peace my friend. We’ll meet again someday.
