Captain Robert Michael Miller

Captain Miller was killed in an automobile crash while returning to the Phoenix Paramedic Solutions base. He had gone to Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville to follow up on the Motocross of Nations event held there the previous weekend. Phoenix Paramedic Solutions coordinated overall medical coverage for the event and provided care along with multiple other EMS agencies. Twenty patients were transported, and several others were treated.

Captain Miller was the Acting Secretary of the Indiana EMS Association (IEMSA). He was awarded the IEMSA Golden Siren Award earlier in 2025 in recognition of his loyal and dedicated service.
