Incident
While serving an eviction just after 1:00 p.m., a Jackson County Civil Process Server was shot at a residence. Police were called, and officers responded.
Upon their arrival, officers were also fired upon, and Officer Allen received fatal wounds. Two other officers were also shot but survived.
The process server, Drexel Mack, also died from his injuries.
