Officer Cody Allen

While responding to the shooting of a Jackson County (MO) Civil Process Officer serving an eviction notice, Officer Allen and other officers were fired upon. Officer Allen and two other officers were shot.

Officer Allen and the process server, Drexel Mack, died from their injuries. The other two officers survived.

In addition to serving six years with the Independence Police Department, Officer Allen had previously served with the Grandview (MO) Police Department and the Lafayette County (MO) Sheriff's Office.
