After Deputy Guyer failed to report for morning training at the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy, his classmates and leaders went to check on him. He was found deceased in his bed from a heart attack. The heart attack was presumed to have been a result of physically stressful/strenuous components of his academy training the evening before.
