Corporal David Paul Jones

Corporal Jones responded on an emergency basis to a report that a person had been set on fire. A few hours after handling that call -- and the victim having been transported to a hospital in critical condition, Corporal Jones complained of discomfort in his chest and not 'feeling well.' Later, as he was traveling home, he stopped at a local Walmart to pick up personal items. When he became overdue and was unable to be reached, his wife drove to the Walmart to look for him. She found him deceased in his patrol vehicle from an apparent heart attack.
