Captain Conley died from complications of COVID-19 contracted in the line of duty.
Captain Conley founded the Rescue Squad in 1974 and served as its chief ("Captain") from the time of inception until his death.
At the time of his death, he was also a member of the Middle Creek Volunteer Fire Department.
