Incident
Chief Reding and other members of his department responded to a mutual-aid call for a structure fire. A few hours after returning from the call, Chief Reding collapsed at his residence from a heart attack. CPR was initiated and he was transported to a medical facility where he died.

Chief Reding was my Chief and friend for over 27 years. He was one of the most caring and giving men I have ever known. I miss him every day.
