Incident
While responding to assist another trooper at a crash scene, Trooper Stephan's vehicle left the roadway in a curve. It then overturned and struck a utility pole. Trooper Stephan died at the scene.
The crash occurred at approximately 10:26 P.M. in Tippecanoe County, on Old State Road 25 near Thayer Court.
