Incident
Firefighter Wand suffered serious injuries when he was thrown from the rear step of Company #15 when it collided with Company #39 as they were responding to an alarm. He was then run over by one of the wagons and was unconscious when he was transported to City Hospital. He died from his injuries approximately two weeks later.
