Incident
On December 14, 1987 EMT Phyllis Shelley was responding to an accident. While en route, EMT Shelley lost control of the ambulance in an S-curve on Highway 50 due to the rapidly accumulating 8 inches of snow.
EMT Shelley was transported to Charles E. Still Hospital where she later succumbed to her injuries.
