Firefighter Leslie was killed in a motor vehicle accident at approximately 4:40 P.M. She was en-route to the firehouse responding to a report of a field fire when the accident occurred.
Her husband, Robert, is the Assistant Fire Chief for Coal City VFD and was the first to arrive on the scene.
