Incident
As he was getting a hose line into position at a stable fire at 2737 Thomas Street, Firefighter Gannon stepped on a downed electric wire. He died at the scene. Firefighter Gannon was a member of Chemical Company #4, which was stationed at Twentieth Street and Washington Avenue.
